(1)High-frequency

The Benefits of high frequency are:

Aids in elimination and absorption .Increases glandular activity. Stimulates circulation of the blood. Germicidal action occurs during use. Increases metabolism. Aids in deeper penetration of product into the skin.

(2)Galvanic

The galvanic has two important function s during a facial treatment. It s main function is to introduce water soluble products into the skin. This process in called iontophoresis. When using galvanic current there are two poles. A negative (-) and a positive (+).

The positive may be

1)to close the follicles (pores) after the facial treatment.

2)to decrease redness, as in mild acne.

3)to prevent inflammation after come done and blemish treatment.

4)to force acid PH solutions, such as astringent, into the skin.

The Negative may be

1)to stimulate the circulation of blood to skin.

2)to force dis-incrustation lotion (alkaline PH solution) into the skin.
